You should go into the fingerpicking a biy more. My right hand has never had an kind any injuries..... like you i mostly only use the same 3 fingers and im still shite😂😂😂😂...... but honestly, learning the basics about Travis picking definitely made my playing better. Ive no doubt itll help you too.... saying your not a great fingerpicker is your own barrier your holding up against yourself..... you could be picking like Towns Van Zandt with them 3 fingers and a little effort. From a D24 fellow Dub to another.... enjoyed the watch and the little bit i got from it.... Travis is no harder than what your already doing but will impress everyone more but mostly yourselves when you get it..... works deadly with nearly all our ballads too..... give it a go seriously..... anyway keep up the good work😉
